Step out of time and into the rhythm of the rainforest.
Find your way to the village of Jalong Tinggi and discover a place where rivers flow, waterfalls cascade, and the Temiar community proudly protects the land they call home. Our tourism initiatives are not just an invitation to visit; it is a vital pillar in our effort to protect our home for generations to come.
01
Community-Led Stewardship
The people of Jalong Tinggi are not beneficiaries, they are leaders. Decisions, storytelling, and initiatives are shaped by the community.

02
Sustainable
Livelihoods
Eco-tourism experiences, guided forest walks, river chalets, and educational visits provide income while reinforcing conservation values.

03
Education &
Awareness
We transform the forest into a living classroom, highlighting biodiversity, endangered species, and sustainable practices.

Korbu Perak Arboretum & Rainforest Centre (KPARC)
The Korbu Perak Arboretum and Rainforest Centre (KPARC) is a targeted conservation initiative within a much larger wilderness. Situated within Compartments 38 and 39 of the Hutan Simpan Korbu, this project focuses on a strategic rehabilitation of a 5 hectare site of the Central Forest Spine (CFS) megafauna ecosystem.

Leave No Trace: A gentle reminder for visitors
We ask our guests to follow these simple practices of respect:
Respect the Land
-
Carry it Out: Whatever you bring into the forest, please take back with you. Our ecosystem is delicate, and we aim to keep our trails and rivers free of litter.
-
Stay on the Path: To protect the native forest blooms and prevent soil erosion, please follow your guide and stick to established trails.
-
Leave as You Find: Rocks, plants, and forest treasures are part of a living story. Please leave them where they belong for others to admire.
Respect the Culture
-
Dress Modestly: As a sign of respect for our elders and traditional values, we appreciate guests dressing modestly (covering shoulders and knees) while in the village.
-
The Gift of a Photo: We love sharing our world with you, but please ask for permission before taking photos of people, their homes, or their children. A smile and a question go a long way.
-
A Slower Connection: We encourage you to put away your devices and engage with the person in front of you. The best memories aren't captured on screens, but in shared moments.
Respect the Water
Pure Rivers: Our rivers are our lifeblood. Please avoid using harsh soaps or chemicals when bathing or cooling off in the clear waters.
Support Reforestation Through Tree Donation
Help restore and protect the Korbu Forest by contributing to our community-led tree planting efforts. Your donation supports the planting of native and endangered tree species, helping preserve biodiversity, strengthen the rainforest ecosystem, and create a greener future for generations to come.
Every tree planted is a step toward conservation, climate resilience, and sustainable livelihoods for the Jalong Tinggi community.
